Twin Transition on the rise
The Accelerate GDT project - Realign Cluster Policies to Accelerate the Twin Green and Digital Transitions - aims to accelerate the green and digital transformation of SMEs by strengthening national policies and cluster policies, among other things. Initially, the project is mainly concerned with the exchange of regions regarding already functioning cluster systems in order to improve the competitiveness of SMEs. Part of the project is also the preparation of an analysis of the ecosystem and digital transformation in Austria to capture the status quo of the cluster landscape.
During the project it is also possible to visit well-functioning clusters in the partner regions and participate in workshops such as "Initiating Green Transformation for SMEs, Cases and Challenges" on relevant topics.
The consortium consists of 7 partner organizations from 6 countries (Ireland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic).
The project is co-financed within the Interreg Europe program by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The duration of the project is from 01.03.2023 - 31.05.2027, the total budget is EUR 1,511,488 €, the aws share is EUR 228,546.88 €.
