Austrian start-ups whose innovative products, processes or services address current social challenges are eligible to participate

Spin-off
Submissions are accepted from exploitation spin-offs which come from institutions of higher learning and defined public research organisations or defined cooperation programmes.

Prototypes
In this category, the honour will go to an Austrian public university, an extra-mural research organisation or a company that has participated in a prototype public funding scheme sponsored by aws or FFG.

Female Entrepreneurs
In order to underline the potential of women in the areas of research and entrepreneurship, one project will be chosen from all those submitted, in which women researchers, founders and entrepreneurs have played a significant role.

Start-ups and Spin-offs:

• Founded after the 1st of January 2017
• Registered in Austria

as well as Austria Universities and research institutions in the prototype category.
